THIS MONTH’S BIBLICAL THEME IS:

GOD IS UNCHANGING.

I really dislike change. But what I love is options. Hebrews 13:8 says: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. What we will see this month is the unchanging, unflinching nature of God. A God who is consistent in His love and perfect in His justice and reasonable in all of His ways.
We will see how He calls a nation to Himself and in His love, corrects, restores, and rescues her. The confidence we have as Christians doesn't come from our perfect behavior but rather from the consistent, unchanging love of God for us in Christ.
Because God is consistent in His mercy and judgment, we never have to fear rejection or experience final retribution. His consistency in a world that is so radically inconsistent brings courage to our timid minds and strength to our anxious hearts What a gift to have a solid rock on which to stand.

What do your children get out of church? Do they come home excited to tell you about what they have learned? These lessons use fun activities to support the lessons the children learn in Bible study. While you enjoy Bible Study and Worship, your children will be actively engaged as they learn more about Jesus and study God's Word for themselves.

DBC Kids is using Brite Idea, an Awana-based program. This is for children ages First Grade through Sixth Grade. Themes will change each month so the kids will remain excited about something new each time they attend! Through the use of games, crafts, Bible stories and other fun activities, our new Brite Idea program will help teach children more of God's Word as they go on each new adventure!
