DAVID BAPTIST CHURCH WELCOMES YOU!
PLAN YOUR VISIT…
If you would like for someone to contact you before your first visit, please fill out the form below with some basic information about yourself, your family and your preferences. We will then have someone contact you to help you know what to expect and to meet you when you arrive. They will be happy to answer your questions and introduce you to other members. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
You may have many questions before coming to David Baptist Church for the first time, but from the very first visit, you will realize these people are just like you! People at David Baptist are very friendly and want to help you feel at home. Of course, the only way to really know what we are all about at David is by joining us on several occasions. Here are a few things you may find helpful to know:
-
We hope you feel relaxed and at ease as we praise God together, using different styles of music and focusing our attention on our Creator.
-
We are reverent, but we know we aren't perfect. We want to do our best, but we are relaxed enough to laugh at ourselves when the choir didn't quite hit the perfect note or the media has glitches. However, our main focus is on worshiping Jesus and we take that seriously.
-
If you don't quite feel like you "fit in," give yourself time. Depending on your past church experiences, it may take more than one visit to begin to feel at home.
-
We encourage Bible study in the best environment for you. We hope you will find a Sunday School class where you feel you can grow as a Christian...a place where you feel you can ask questions so you can learn. If you feel you have joined the wrong class, please ask and we will help you find a class more suited to you.
-
We believe in prayer. We have several groups who are sincerely devoted to praying for the needs of others. No, not gossiping, but praying with you and for you.
-
We genuinely enjoy being with each other! We understand that fellowship is important in the life of a believer. Christians strengthen and encourage each other for the daily struggles we each face.
-
We are very much in love with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we hope you are too! If you have questions about this, we will be happy to help you understand it better. Just ask, or go to the "Experience" tab at the top of any page.
